What are the main differences between Male and female Great Danes?
I am looking at getting a great dane and was wondering which sex is better? Is there a big difference with temprement?
Any info is would be great!
Males are bigger, stronger (also meaning more difficult to control) and more dominant, in general (not always). There's not too big of a difference.

I would be more concerned with finding a reputable breeder who has no aggression/good temperaments in their lines then the gender!
I have seen one too many Danes with horrible temperaments.

females come in heat and sometimes that is annoying. Males get to an age where they wan tot follow females all the time and that can get annoying too.
