I am of course a dog lover at heart, but I am new to Danes. I am nearly totally blind and have a guide dog, a yellow lab.He’s fabulous. We recently rescued a dane, we named him Lucky. He’s spirited and silly, clumsy and cute… his disposition reminds me of a gangly goofy kid. I don’t know alot about his breed however, so naturally when I found this blog I was elated. I welcome email pertaining to these guys and whatthey need in the manner of special care. I hope to have Lucky for many many years and look forward to having him as part of my family. I love the page.. love the info.. and especially the photos.. one of them is a replica of my boy right down to the white crest on his chest. Thanks for all this lovely info and thanks for giving me the opportunity to find others to share with. Hope to hear from someone soon…
