Who feeds their great dane, "Blue Buffalo", Type Dog Food?

do you feed your great dane, the blue buffalo food, and is it good for great danes? and what one is best for a pup? I know puppy isnt good, But what adult food could we feed?

I wouldn't feed my large breed Blue Buffalo, its way too expensive in comparison to the other quality foods such as Innova, Solid Gold, Canidae, etc..And it isn't nearly as good as the foods I mentioned, either.

I don't think I'd feed Blue Buffalo b/c it's on the expensive side, but it's a good food. Mixing the adult and puppy would be your best bet since I'm not aware of them having a Lg Breed puppy formula.

Or…you could check these out: (these are what I recommend to clients)

Dog food should have a meat as the #1 ingredient. There should be little to no corn or corn byproducts as well as little to no meat byproducts. The good meat is just called "lamb","beef", and "pork" not "chicken byproduct." Corn is a filler that is not necessary and not good for your dog, really. There are very few nutrients in corn.

I don't have a great dane (but i want one) but i do feed my dog that.
Hes a cavachon (cavalier king charles mix wit bichon). Don't worry we rescued so dont go saying that i support puppy mills. Cuz the place where we got him saves puppies from them.

Hope i helped

I have several fellow great dane owners that feed Blue Buffalo to their danes and have great results with it. My danes are older so the higher protien is not an issue and they eat EVO Red Meat which puppies absolutely may not have due to the high protien levels (leads to HOD and other joint issues). If you are looking for an honest evaluation of dog foods go to http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com and go thru the reviews. They give dog foods a rating up to 6 stars, list the ingredients of each dog food, pros/cons of that particular food, and why they feel it deserves the rating given.

When my danes were little I feed them Solid Gold Wolf Cub (owner of company breeds champion brindle Great Danes) and Canidae all life stages until they changed the formula a few months back. Try to keep the max protien under 23% so their bones do not outgrow their muscles.
