Sunday, December 7th, 2008Does anyone know of a good and reputable Great Dane breeder in Colorado? I tried to adopt one but they won’t adopt to me because I have 2 children under 5 years old. I know we will be able to handle a Great Dane because we already have a big dog. Can anyone help me?
I've tried Rocky Mountain Great Danes and they will not adopt to us because of our children.
contact the national breed club and they should be able to direct you to a reputable breeder in your area. You can also contact the akc breed club (but do not use the list of breeders on the akc website, any breeder that is akc can list there and sadly not all are quality breeders). The national, regional or local club is best.
